What affects the price of a YDE?
Property size, the number of panels and supplies, existing drawings and the condition of the installation. Ask for one quote if you manage several apartments. Any repairs are quoted separately before work starts.

What is a YDE certificate?
YDE is the Greek electrical installation certificate (Υπεύθυνη Δήλωση Εγκαταστάτη), filed with HEDNO, the electricity distribution operator known in Greek as ΔΕΔΔΗΕ or DEDDIE. It documents the installation inspection, measurements and drawings.
Can you explain the process in English?
Yes. Your engineer speaks fluent English and explains the documents, inspection results and next steps directly. We work with local and overseas property owners.
Can I arrange an inspection while I am abroad?
Yes, provided access to the property and electrical panel is arranged. We can coordinate with your property manager or another contact you nominate.
How soon can the YDE be filed?
Target filing time: 24–48 hours after a successful inspection, any necessary repairs and receipt of the required documents. We confirm the timing for your property individually.
What happens if the inspection finds faults?
We explain the findings and quote necessary work separately. Filing proceeds after the required repairs and checks have been completed.
Can you handle several rental apartments?
Yes. Send the number of properties and their areas so we can plan visits and provide a combined quote. Our completed work includes inspection and YDE filing for four apartments in Koukaki and Syntagma.
Which areas do you cover?
Athens and Attica, including the centre, northern, southern, eastern and western suburbs, and Piraeus. We agree the date and time of the visit with you.
Does the electrical panel need work?
If the inspection finds a fault with protection or wiring, the same engineer can carry out repairs under a separate, agreed quote.
